Spinosaurus’ lived in what is now North Africa, during the Late Cretaceous period (about 99 to 93.5 million years ago). Similar in size to the Tyrannosaurus and Giganotosaurus, scientists estimate they reached 46 feet in length and weighed 7.4 metric tons. Their skulls were long and narrow like a crocodile and their teeth were non serrated.
This tooth has a worn tip from feeding.
Location found: Taouz, Kem Kem Basin, Morocco
