2.5" Pelecypod Fossil

The Cretaceous period was between 145 to 66 million years ago, and despite its age this shell is in excellent condition. This shell is part of the Pelecypod family which includes oysters, clams, mussels, and cockles.

Please note: The barnacle is not fossilized, however it remains to preserve the original condition of the specimen.
