2.0" Ammonite

This ammonite is from a fossil outcrop near Chilliwack, BC, and would be perfect for cutting or polishing; with some prep work it would make a stunning display piece.

66 million years ago- ammonites were squid-like creatures that lived inside coil-shaped shells. As natural predators, they had sharp beak-like jaws hidden within a ring of tentacles, very similar to the way squid or octopus hunt today.
