Ammonite Impression Fossil

This specimen is roughly 8.0" and shows two hollow Ammonite (Cadoceras) impressions.

66 million years ago- Ammonites were squid-like creatures that lived inside coil-shaped shells. As natural predators, they had sharp beak-like jaws hidden within a ring of tentacles, very similar to the way squid or octopus hunt today.
