One of the most abundant minerals in the Earth's crust, Quartz is composed of oxygen and silicon. Until the fifteenth century, scholars believed this stone was fossilized ice. Also known as Rock Crystal, Universal Crystal, Crystal Quartz, or Clear Quartz, it can be found in several colors and variations.
